Important information for traveling via Hannover Messe/Laatzen
Due to construction work, service at Hannover Messe/Laatzen station will be limited, particularly for regional trains:
- Deutsche Bahn long-distance ICE trains will make special stops at the station (18 trains daily), as shown in the timetable available online, on the Frankfurt–Berlin, Frankfurt–Hamburg, and Munich–Hamburg routes.
- For regional service, Hannover S-Bahn lines S4 Bennemühlen – Messe and S8 Airport – Messe will stop at the station.
- Due to construction work, trains on the DB Regio RE2 Hannover – Göttingen line will not stop at the station.
- RE10 Hannover – Hildesheim trains will also not stop at the station, as trains on this line will be rerouted via Lehrte.
The relevant trains are included in the timetable information at www.bahn.de.
Visitors traveling from the affected directions are advised to travel to Hannover Central Station and continue from there to the exhibition grounds by either S-Bahn or light rail.
