Let visitors test your latest vehicle innovations!

As part of this year's IAA TRANSPORTATION 2024 from September 17 to 22 in Hanover, you not only have the opportunity to showcase your latest vehicle innovations, but visitors also have the chance to test them.

With the IAA Test Drives, we offer exhibitors the opportunity to provide guided test drives with the latest emission-free light and heavy commercial vehicles of all classes on the exhibition grounds or on public roads – whether it's a prototype or a production model. All test drives start and end at the indoor departure terminal.

Exhibitors can choose from two different route options.

The route options at a glance:

1.

Testing on a 2 km-long test track within the exhibition grounds.

An approximately 2 km-long secured test track in the eastern part of the exhibition grounds. Prototypes can also participate here. (Prerequisite is documented insurance coverage)

Test drive on public roads outside the exhibition grounds.

Production vehicles with street legal status can exit the exhibition grounds through Gate South 1 West and use public roads for test drives. It's the exhibitor's right to decide on the length and duration of each ride.

Your Options

Enable interested visitors to experience the latest vehicle innovations on-site under real road conditions and captivate them sustainably. For the guided test drives, all vehicle types presented at the fair are eligible. We provide two separate departure locations for this purpose:

Trucks and light commercial vehicles start at the Indoor Terminal. For test drives, you can choose either the test track on the grounds or public roads.
Buses start from the assembly areas in the immediate vicinity of the Bus Area. They use public roads for their test drives and exit the exhibition grounds. More information about test drives with buses, as well as the registration form, is available here.

Your Booking

As a provider of IAA Test Drives with trucks and light commercial vehicles, you can book one of our modernly designed and uniformly furnished indoor registration areas, including basic equipment and partial branding on containers and counters, as well as an indoor parking space for your selected test vehicle.

The vehicles are located in adjacent parking areas, from which the guided test drives start after the vehicle briefing is completed. Overnight, the vehicles remain in the hall and can be charged if needed.
