With the Lion’s Coach E, MAN is set to launch the first fully electric long-distance coach from a major European manufacturer. The vehicle will offer between 356 and 534 kWh of battery capacity and a range of up to 650 kilometers (about 400 miles). Series production is scheduled to begin in 2026 at MAN’s plant in Ankara, Turkey. Initially, the Lion’s Coach E is intended for short- and mid-range applications such as shuttle services, commuter transport, and city tours. With the future rollout of megawatt charging infrastructure (up to 750 kW), the coach’s operational range is expected to extend further into long-distance travel.

Mercedes-Benz Trucks has announced it will discontinue production of the eActros 300 and 400 by the end of 2025, focusing instead on expanding the eActros 600 lineup. New configurations will include tractor units and flatbed chassis with varying wheelbases, as well as versions with dual battery packs and different cab and roof designs. All models will share key components: lithium iron phosphate batteries, 800-volt system voltage, the new e-axle drive unit, and the Interactive Multimedia Cockpit 2.0. Some variants are expected to roll off the production line later this year.

Ari Motors has unveiled the Ari 901 XL, a fully electric panel van designed for couriers, tradespeople, and service professionals. It offers a maximum payload of 1,375 kilograms (around 3,030 lbs) and is powered by a 60 kW permanent magnet motor, allowing for a top speed of 100 km/h (62 mph). The 42 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery delivers up to 301 kilometers (187 miles) of range. Thanks to DC fast charging, the van can be recharged in about one hour.

Volvo Trucks has updated its FH Aero with a series of aerodynamic enhancements aimed at improving fuel efficiency by up to 7%. Inspired by aerospace and Formula 1 design, the upgrades include airflow stabilizers on the upper cab corners, extended side deflectors, and refined chassis fairings. These improvements optimize airflow around the cab, reduce drag, and contribute to longer range and lower CO₂ emissions. The new aero components are available across multiple models, including the FH, FH Aero, and FM, and are compatible with all drivetrain types.
