Iveco has unveiled its first road-ready eDaily modified for inductive charging, capable of both stationary and Dynamic Wireless Power Transfer (DWPT)—charging while the vehicle is in motion.
Brebemi, the Italian highway operator connecting Brescia and Milan and a member of the Aleatica Group, is adding this zero-emission eDaily to its Argentea service fleet. Recognized internationally for its pioneering sustainable mobility projects, Brebemi will use the 42C Crew Van—a double-cab configuration with seating for six—to transport maintenance and operations staff. The vehicle is being provided through a 36-month lease under the GATE (Green & Advanced Transport Ecosystem) formula.
Unlike the standard production model, this specialized eDaily features an integrated inductive charging system custom-engineered to interface with Brebemi’s proprietary infrastructure.

This wireless-charging eDaily represents a major milestone in a journey that began years ago with Brebemi’s "Arena del Futuro" (Arena of the Future) pilot project, later advanced in collaboration with the startup VoltAtire. Iveco has long been a key partner in this initiative, previously contributing an E-Way electric bus to the trials. Through these efforts, Brebemi has established itself as a global leader and a primary reference point for wireless charging technology.
