MAN Showcases Van and Truck Portfolio from 3.5 to 250 Tons with Electric and Conventional Drives at IAA TRANSPORTATION

Under the motto "Driving. People. Partner.", MAN is presenting its exceptionally efficient truck and van portfolio ranging from 3.5 to 250 tons at IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026—equipped with conventional and electric drives, digital services for high vehicle availability, and modern safety and driver assistance systems. The offering is complemented by a comprehensive ecosystem covering electric mobility, charging, and energy supply.

Partner.", MAN is presenting its exceptionally efficient truck and van portfolio ranging from 3.5 to 250 tons at IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026—equipped with conventional and electric drives, digital services for high vehicle availability, and modern safety and driver assistance systems. The offering is complemented by a comprehensive ecosystem covering electric mobility, charging, and energy supply.
With the MAN eTGL, eTGM, eTGS, and eTGX series, MAN will offer a complete end-to-end electric truck portfolio from 12 to 50 tons, which will be on display in its entirety for the first time at IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026. It covers almost the entire spectrum of applications, from urban distribution logistics and municipal applications to construction site traffic and long-haul transport. A key focus among this year's innovations is the further development of the GPS-supported MAN EfficientCruise system with PredictiveDrive. By intelligently taking route profiles, traffic infrastructure, and speed limits into account, consistent use of the system can achieve fuel or energy savings of up to 5.5 percent, depending on the vehicle type and application profile. According to the company, savings of up to nine percent are even possible in demanding topographies.
In addition to efficiency and availability, MAN is also focusing on road safety at IAA TRANSPORTATION. Highlights include the next generation of emergency brake assist, MAN Emergency Brake Assist EBA Advanced, a new Driver Monitoring System designed to detect distraction and fatigue, and expanded features to protect pedestrians, cyclists, and other road users nearby and during turning maneuvers. Furthermore, MAN is presenting new side-monitoring solutions and expanding its digital mirror replacement system, MAN OptiView, to include an attractive base version.

At IAA, MAN Transport Solutions will put the entire e-mobility ecosystem center stage, featuring intelligent solutions for charging infrastructure, smart charging, and energy management. The goal is to optimize charging times, reduce energy costs, and make the operation of electric fleets economically viable. Additionally, MAN will offer a preview of new applications, such as bidirectional charging, and present the Smart Charging Cube—a solution designed for locations where high-performance grid connections are currently unavailable.
The MAN TGE at this year's IAA is also dedicated to efficiency, productivity, and driver comfort. Ten years after its world premiere in Hanover, MAN is introducing new customization options from MAN Individual along with new MAN TGE Connect Services. The MAN Individual lineup is being expanded to include the MAN TGE Individual Lion X trim line as well as the Individual Black entry-level package.
The highlight of the digital service portfolio for the MAN transporter is the new "Lifetime Connectivity," which will be available starting in September at no extra cost. This allows all digital services in the MAN TGE, including online functions and map updates, to be offered free of charge. Another innovation is the MAN TGE Connect app, designed to enable drivers to make their daily workday more convenient, efficient, and transparent. The app connects the driver and vehicle in real time, creating a centralized interface for control and information.
