The dragonize collaborative electric truck charging network, operated by German logistics provider TST Logistik, is expanding its services to include integrated route and charging planning. To achieve this, the network, which launched in April 2026, will partner with software provider Fryte Mobility. The solution is designed to enable freight forwarding companies to coordinate transport orders, routes, and charging operations while making binding reservations for charging slots at participating depot charging stations. Following a testing phase, the technology is reportedly already in regular operation.

The solution is designed to enable freight forwarding companies to coordinate transport orders, routes, and charging operations while making binding reservations for charging slots at participating depot charging stations. Route Planning and Charging Slot Reservations on a Single Platform
Fryte Mobility's software is to be integrated directly into the existing dragonize DepotOS platform. This will allow logistics companies to coordinate their transport orders, routes, and required charging times within a single system.
A key feature will be the ability to reserve charging slots. Dispatchers will be able to select a suitable charging point during route planning and reserve it for the vehicle's expected arrival time. This is intended to ensure that the necessary charging infrastructure is available as scheduled, allowing subsequent transport orders to be completed on time.
The reservation feature is particularly important when multiple freight forwarding companies share the same depot charging stations. According to dragonize, both fleet vehicles and external logistics partners will have access to the same available charging slots and can book them under standardized rules.
More Than 30 Electric Trucks Already Using the System
The integrated solution was initially tested in a pilot phase and has since transitioned to regular operation. According to the project partners, more than 30 electric trucks from the TST fleet, along with additional external logistics companies, are already using the platform to plan and reserve charging sessions.
The entire process is designed to be handled digitally, from route planning and charging slot reservations to charger activation and subsequent billing.
By coordinating charging operations in advance, the system aims to reduce waiting times at heavily utilized locations and make more efficient use of existing charging capacity.
Collaborative Depot Charging Network for Small and Medium-Sized Freight Forwarders
Launched in April 2026 and founded by the TST Group, the dragonize network takes a collaborative approach to developing charging infrastructure for electric commercial vehicles. Participating logistics companies can contribute their own depot charging points to the network or use the infrastructure provided by other members.
The service is primarily aimed at small and medium-sized freight forwarding companies, for which independently developing a comprehensive charging network would require substantial investment.
The technical infrastructure combines solutions from several partners. Chargecloud provides the backend for charging operations, Alpitronic serves as the hardware partner, and Fryte Mobility handles route and charging planning, including charging slot reservations.
The service has a modular structure. Companies can use individual services or opt for a comprehensive package covering everything from charging infrastructure planning and installation to operation and billing.
Improved Utilization Through Coordinated Charging Planning
By integrating Fryte Mobility, dragonize primarily aims to simplify the shared use of depot charging points. As the number of electric trucks increases, so does the need to coordinate vehicle availability, transport orders, and charging infrastructure.
Digital reservations are intended to prevent multiple vehicles from requiring the same charging point simultaneously and to avoid unplanned waiting times. At the same time, the system is designed to help operators improve utilization of their existing charging stations.
