The rollout begins in Germany with the Renault Master E-Tech, offering businesses a flexible rental option that eliminates the need for heavy upfront capital expenditures. Europcar plans to eventually add more brands and vehicle configurations to meet the growing need for emission-free commercial vehicles. These vans are designed for daily urban and regional use, boasting a range of over 250 miles and a payload capacity of 2,200 lbs. To ensure they are work-ready, the vans come equipped with protective wood cargo lining, as well as parking sensors and a rearview camera.

At the Europcar location in Dortmund, twenty of these e-vans have already been leased to new clients for a full year. By utilizing these all-electric transporters, customers can significantly reduce their carbon footprint during deliveries while also gaining the ability to operate in noise-sensitive areas—even during nighttime hours.
