Megawatt Charging Demonstration
Experience megawatt charging live: The Megawatt Charging System (MCS) marks the beginning of a new era in electric road freight transportation.
This high-performance technology enables extremely fast charging for commercial vehicles, laying the foundation for the efficient, practical use of battery-electric trucks in long-haul transportation. At IAA TRANSPORTATION, visitors will have their first opportunity to see and experience this technology of the future firsthand.
As part of the IAA Experience, moderated live demonstrations of megawatt charging will take place several times a day. At the Test Drives departure terminal in Hall 14/15, experience how modern electric trucks use megawatt charging to take on the energy they need for their journey in a matter of minutes. Expert moderators will explain the technology, its potential applications, and its importance for the transformation of the transportation sector.
The demonstrations are being conducted in cooperation with Milence, Daimler Truck, MAN, and the VDA, offering exclusive insights into the next generation of charging infrastructure and vehicle technology.
