IAA Test Drives

Experience more exhibitors and vehicles than ever before—quite literally: At IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026, you’ll experience the latest commercial vehicles and technologies not only at the exhibition booths, but also in real-world operation. Take advantage of the opportunity to test the latest trends in commercial vehicles and transportation.

With a total of 16 exhibitors and more than 80 vehicles, this year offers an especially wide range of innovations, from modern powertrain concepts to forward-looking solutions for transportation and logistics. Take the opportunity to explore new technologies firsthand and gain valuable insights relevant to your field of work.

At the new departure terminal in Halls 14/15, you’ll find 53 vehicles from 13 exhibitors available for test drives. Additional brand-specific departure points are located in Halls 11 and 19/20.

Start at the departure terminal:
Visit us at the departure terminal in Halls 14/15.

Register for a test drive:
Sign up at the registration container of your preferred exhibitor. Please bring a valid driver’s license for the appropriate vehicle class.

Escort to the vehicle:
A member of the exhibitor’s staff will escort you to the vehicle, which will be waiting in a nearby parking area.

Start your test drive
After a brief introduction, your guided test drive will begin. It may take place either on the 2-km test track at the trade fair center or on public roads. The respective exhibitor will determine the route.

Departure terminal
After completing your test drive, you will return to the departure terminal in Halls 14/15.
