- Partnership agreement between BPW and service network Alltrucks
Alltrucks, the workshop system for commercial vehicle workshops founded by Bosch, Knorr-Bremse and ZF, is strengthening and professionalising the service network of axle specialist BPW in Europe and at the same time expanding its own service and trailer expertise with axles, chassis solutions and e-truck drives. The Alltrucks partners in Central Europe will offer mobility products and digital spare parts services from BPW from the beginning of 2023. Vehicle operators will benefit from more speed, safety and proximity in trailer service.
The cross-brand full-service workshop concept "Alltrucks Truck & Trailer Service" and BPW Bergische Achsen KG have agreed on an international cooperation in the run-up to the IAA Transportation: Through this cooperation, BPW will initially expand its service network to include the Alltrucks workshops in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland. Subsequently, the cooperation will be gradually expanded in Europe. From January 2023, Alltrucks partner workshops and selected existing BPW service partners will offer maintenance and repairs of trailer axles and chassis components at the highest level: Through training, digital services, simple and smart spare parts service and standardised processes, BPW and Alltrucks will ensure a professional approach to aftersales and thus more proximity, speed and safety in trailer servicing - and thus more uptime and customer satisfaction.
Specialised Alltrucks partner workshops also provide service for BAX, the new brand for electric trucks with BPW axle drive system. As a series-production vehicle with EU type approval and the expanded, eMobility-trained Alltrucks workshop network, the new BAX 7.5 is ready for its Europe-wide market launch.
Homer Smyrliadis and Thore Bakker will be on hand to answer questions at Alltrucks (Hall 12, Stand B50) on 19.09, 1 to 2 pm.
