At IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026, AUMOVIO is presenting technologies for software-defined commercial vehicles, autonomous driving, electrification, and digital fleet processes. The focus is on integrated system solutions designed to boost efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness in the transport sector.
A key priority is the VDO Ecosystem, which links tachographs, fleet services, and tolling solutions to reduce administrative workload and automate compliance processes. For software-defined commercial vehicles, AUMOVIO is showcasing high-performance computers, connectivity solutions, and over-the-air features.
Together with Aurora, the company is also developing a hardware kit for autonomous trucks slated for deployment on US highways starting in 2027. In the electromobility segment, the portfolio includes battery management systems, DC/DC converters, charging solutions, and fleet services aimed at optimizing range, vehicle availability, and operating costs.

Knorr-Bremse is introducing new technologies for automated, safe, and zero-emission commercial vehicles at IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026. Among the debuts is the oil-free, electrically driven Multi Tumble Piston (MTP) eCompressor, designed to enable an energy-efficient and low-noise compressed air supply. Furthermore, Knorr-Bremse is presenting the rGSBC redundant braking system, scheduled for series production launch in 2027. The system is built to ensure high-availability braking performance even in the event of errors, making it a key requirement for highly automated driving functions. Also nearing market launch is the all-electric Electric Power Steering (EPS) system, which uses a "power-on-demand" principle to cut steering system energy consumption by up to 90 percent compared to conventional solutions.
The presentation focuses on four key technology areas: In the Zero Emission area, Knorr-Bremse is showcasing energy-efficient SYNACT® disc brakes, the new eCompressor MTP, and solutions to reduce brake dust and noise emissions. For automated driving, the company is highlighting high-availability braking and steering systems, implementing these via innovations such as the redundant braking system (rGSBC), the all-electric steering system (EPS), and its redundant execution (rEPS). Meanwhile, in the realm of traffic safety, modern braking systems and driver assistance solutions such as Fusion Front and Side ADAS take center stage. The portfolio is rounded out by the CVS Service Platform featuring digital services for fleets, repair shops, and trailers.

The BPW Group is placing the trailer front and center as an intelligent efficiency system at IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026. Together with brands BPW, Ermax, HBN, HESTAL, and idem telematics, the company is showcasing connected solutions across running gear, aerodynamics, telematics, data, and service to make transport processes more efficient and economical.
A major highlight is a world premiere for the European 9-tonne axle segment. Additionally, BPW is taking stock of its ECO Air air suspension assembly, which has been installed in over 200,000 trailers since 2020.
Rounding out the display, BPW is showing iC Plus—a connected running gear system for condition-based maintenance—alongside the cargofleet 3 telematics platform from idem telematics. HESTAL is also expanding its FlowMaster portfolio to improve aerodynamics, providing calculations of individual savings potentials for fleet operators.

Valeo is showcasing a comprehensive technology portfolio for heavy trucks and light commercial vehicles at IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026. The focus is on solutions for electrification, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV), and up to Level 4 autonomous driving, all engineered to enhance safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Among other highlights, Valeo is demonstrating the electrification of powertrain and thermal management systems featuring the EDC-120 electric compressor with an integrated inverter—specially developed for electric buses and electric commercial vehicles—along with smart heat pumps, High Voltage Coolant Heaters, and electric drive systems. The offering is complemented by scalable computing platforms, AI-backed software, as well as camera, radar, and LiDAR technologies for automated driving capabilities.
In addition, the company is introducing new safety and comfort solutions such as Adaptive Driving Beam (ADB), a Driver Monitoring System (DMS), modern climate and lighting systems, and Cyclee by Valeo, a drive unit for cargo bikes. Furthermore, Valeo is highlighting its REMAN 2.0 strategy featuring remanufactured components for the commercial vehicle aftermarket.

SAF-HOLLAND is presenting an integrated system portfolio for the first time at IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026, combining axles, brakes, couplings, steering systems, telematics, and digital control solutions into fully synchronized complete systems. The goal is to reduce maintenance effort, downtime, and total cost of ownership across the entire vehicle lifecycle.
A main focus is the axle portfolio, offering solutions with load capacities ranging from 9 to 82 tonnes—from the SAF INTRA and SAF FUSION to the SAF MODUL family and TECMA brand heavy-duty axles. Additionally, SAF-HOLLAND is fully integrating Haldex braking systems into its lineup. Going forward, the ModulT disc brake from Haldex can be integrated as standard across all axle families, complemented by electronic braking systems and drum brake components.

MAN Truck & Bus has kicked off serial production of its first MCS-capable electric trucks, becoming the first European commercial vehicle manufacturer to bring such vehicles to series production. The MAN eTGX and eTGS models will initially be delivered to customers across nine European countries to support the ramp-up of the Megawatt Charging System (MCS).
Via MCS, the vehicles can charge at up to 750 kW. Depending on battery capacity, the state of charge can be raised from 20 to 80 percent in under 30 or 40 minutes, respectively. This enables intermediate charging during legally mandated driver rest breaks, making daily ranges of over 1,000 kilometers achievable.
In addition to the MCS connection, the vehicles optionally offer extra CCS charging ports for flexible charging scenarios. MAN is further supporting the MCS rollout through its 360° eMobility consulting service and the MAN Charge&Go charging service, providing access to verified MCS and CCS charging points across Europe.
