SINOTRUK to Present Five Vehicles, Core Components and Charging Solutions for a Wide Range of Transport Needs

SINOTRUK will present five vehicles, key components and an integrated energy solution combining wind and solar power, energy storage, charging and battery swapping. The solution uses a model already deployed at 102 sites worldwide, bringing together vehicles, components and charging infrastructure and services.

The all-new SITRAK 4×2 battery-electric tractor unit will be a centerpiece of the display. It is designed for medium- and long-haul freight transport with zero tailpipe CO2 emissions. An integrated battery-and-chassis design and stacked-cell technology enable a range of more than 500 km and energy consumption as low as 110 kWh per 100 km. The battery can charge from 20% to 80% in just 30 minutes. A smart cab designed for home-like comfort improves the experience on long journeys, while the electric powertrain helps reduce carbon emissions from long-distance freight transport.

The component display will feature four products developed in-house, covering key areas of commercial vehicle technology.

The integrated stations combine wind and solar power with energy storage, charging, battery swapping, mobile energy supply and smart energy management. These capabilities enable SINOTRUK to offer customers worldwide customized, one-stop services covering station construction, energy supply, and smart operations and maintenance.

Since 2023, SINOTRUK has delivered more than 100,000 new energy commercial vehicles worldwide. These vehicles are in regular service in more than 50 countries and regions, with their performance validated at scale under real-world road conditions. Through connected and software-defined vehicle technologies, SINOTRUK is helping make global logistics more digital and sustainable, reflecting its exhibition theme, “Beyond Testing, Proven on the Road.”

Weichai Power to Showcase Low- and Zero-Carbon Powertrains and Core Electrification Components

Weichai Power will showcase 18 products spanning high-efficiency conventional powertrains, a range of new energy technologies and core electrification components. With technologies for a wide range of operating requirements, the company will present proven, reliable and integrated powertrain solutions to support the decarbonization of commercial vehicles worldwide.

During the exhibition, Weichai Power will launch three new products designed to meet Europe’s stringent regulatory requirements and the needs of demanding transport applications. The NG4.0 Pro gas-fueled engine combines lower carbon emissions and fuel efficiency with strong power output to substantially reduce operating costs. The WPH15DI hybrid powertrain integrates a hydrogen internal combustion engine with electric drive, combining zero-carbon operation with the reliability required for heavy-duty applications. It addresses high energy consumption and integration challenges in hydrogen-powered transport. The EM300 battery pack, mounted beneath the chassis and developed specifically for long-haul heavy-duty trucks, improves the vehicle’s ability to negotiate road obstacles and enhances safety. It supports long range and flexible configuration options for European long-haul freight applications.

Weichai Power’s portfolio spans low- and zero-carbon powertrains. Its conventional range includes high-efficiency diesel, multi-fuel and next-generation gas-fueled engines that combine lightweight design, low emissions and fuel economy. Across the range, these products support a variety of clean fuels and operating conditions in international markets.

Its new energy portfolio spans battery-electric, hybrid, range-extended and hydrogen internal combustion technologies, addressing decarbonization alongside vehicle reliability and operating economics. Weichai Power will also display reliable traction batteries, battery cells with exceptionally long service lives and integrated multifunction controllers, demonstrating its end-to-end in-house development capabilities.

Drawing on years of experience in international markets, Weichai Power offers products validated at scale across a wide range of regions and operating conditions. The company provides customized, complete powertrain solutions tailored to local energy mixes, regulations and transport applications. Its technical expertise and manufacturing capabilities support the continued decarbonization of the global commercial vehicle industry.

HanDe Axle to Showcase Axle and Driveline Solutions for Cleaner, More Efficient Commercial Vehicles

At IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026 in Hannover, HanDe Axle will showcase six key products, including electric drive axles for heavy- and light-duty trucks. The display will demonstrate the company’s expertise in axles for both new energy and conventionally powered commercial vehicles.

With roots dating back to 1968, HanDe Axle has a comprehensive system for original design, development and validation, as well as a laboratory accredited by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS). It has an annual production capacity of 1.5 million axles, and its cumulative production and sales each exceed 10 million units. The company has ranked first in China and third worldwide by heavy-duty axle sales volume for ten consecutive years, and supplies products to more than 20 countries and regions.

In the first half of 2026, axle assembly production and sales increased by 17% year over year, while sales of electric drive axles for new energy vehicles rose by 42%. HanDe Axle held more than 70% of China’s market for electric drive axles for new energy heavy-duty trucks, with cumulative sales in this segment exceeding 200,000 units. Exports increased by 26% year over year.

HanDe Axle will highlight three products: the HDE13t electric drive axle for heavy-duty trucks, with dual motors, a three-speed transmission and oil cooling; the HDE5t oil-cooled, two-in-one electric drive axle for light-duty trucks; and the HDA440 high-efficiency, single-reduction axle for conventionally powered tractor units. These products serve applications ranging from long-haul heavy freight and urban distribution to conventional freight transport.

The HDE13t electric drive axle uses coupled dual motors, silicon carbide (SiC) control technology and oil-cooled motors with flat-wire windings. Its compact design balances power and energy efficiency for European long-haul, heavy-duty new energy tractor units.

The HDE5t electric drive axle offers a highly integrated design, substantial weight savings and long maintenance-free operating intervals for new energy light-duty delivery trucks in European cities. The HDA440 axle delivers 98.9% transmission efficiency, an oil change interval of 1 million km and a B10 life of 1.8 million km, supporting upgrades to existing conventionally powered heavy-duty trucks.

As Europe’s commercial vehicle market transitions to lower-carbon transport, HanDe Axle is developing solutions across a broad range of energy technologies and transport applications. Its approach to international growth, focused on technology, quality and value, guides the delivery of integrated driveline solutions tailored to local regulations and operating conditions.

At the event, the company will strengthen international partnerships across the value chain to support cleaner, more efficient commercial transport worldwide.

Conclusion

By combining the strengths of SINOTRUK, Weichai Power and HanDe Axle, SDHI has integrated power systems, driveline components, vehicle R&D and manufacturing, and supporting energy services.

Its presence in Hannover will highlight the Group’s innovation across the value chain and its proven ability to deliver solutions globally. SDHI will continue to offer proven, reliable and practical solutions from China to support the decarbonization of commercial vehicles worldwide.
