New Labeling for Truck-Compatible Charging Stations

With the update, charging infrastructure operators can explicitly designate their locations as suitable for trucks. This will allow drivers to identify charging stations designed to accommodate heavy-duty commercial vehicles when searching for a suitable charging location.

In addition to identifying truck-compatible charging points, Last Mile Solutions is introducing greater transparency regarding charging costs.

Users will now be able to view a detailed breakdown of all applicable fees before starting a charging session. These include the energy price per kilowatt-hour, potential session initiation and time-based fees, parking or idle fees, and surcharges based on station utilization.

Value-added tax (VAT) and any necessary currency conversions are also taken into account.

For logistics companies and fleet operators, the feature is intended to enable more accurate calculations of actual charging costs. Particularly in international transport operations, different pricing models and additional fees can affect the cost-effectiveness of individual charging sessions.

Further updates focus on the administrative management of charging sessions. Invoices and reimbursement documents can now be downloaded directly through the app, making it easier for users and fleet operators to manage their charging expenses.

The app's QR code recognition capabilities have also been expanded. Charging sessions can now be initiated by scanning a QR code at a larger number of charging stations.

These features are designed to simplify both access to charging infrastructure and the subsequent documentation of charging sessions.
