Food Storage Box with Refrigerator Powered by Solar Panel

Koluman, one of the largest capacity manufacturers in Turkiye, prevents the food spoilage of users by integrating a cooler into the food storage box used in curtainsider products.

Curtain-sided semi-trailers are commonly used in the logistics industry for their flexibility in loading and unloading goods. These trailers often include food storage cabinets on their side sections, intended for use by drivers during rest periods. However, these cabinets, typically made of steel, are not insulated, and in hot weather, the food stored in them deteriorates quickly, losing both freshness and nutritional value. To address this issue, we are currently working on a project to design and implement refrigerated food storage compartments within the existing cabinets of these trailers. The refrigeration will be powered by solar energy, harnessed from panels installed on the roof of the trailer. This initiative aims to ensure the preservation of food quality and safety, ultimately enhancing the overall usability and comfort for drivers. Once completed, this project will offer a sustainable and practical solution for the logistics industry.
