In the FIA Goodyear European Truck Racing Championship (ETRC) show pit, visitors could get up close with the racing trucks from six leading teams from across Europe. The trucks impressed with their high-performance engines, aerodynamic modifications, and state-of-the-art racing technology. Mechanics and drivers were on hand to answer questions and offered exclusive insights into the challenges of truck racing.
Live demonstrations explained how the racing trucks are specifically modified for motorsport requirements and highlighted the latest innovations in brakes, tires, chassis, and drivetrain technology. Visitors could witness how quickly and precisely teams work to keep their trucks in top condition.
The hosted tire-changing competition was not only fun but also showed the skill and speed needed for a tire change in professional motorsport. Visitors even had the chance to try it themselves and compare their skills against the pros. The IAA Experience Area also featured a variety of attractions for families and children. The VW ID. Buzz bouncy castle provided a space for the youngest guests to play and have fun. This inflatable vehicle was a true highlight, symbolizing the connection between tradition and the future of mobility.
On the quad track, kids could have their first experience with small motorized vehicles. The track was designed to be safe yet exciting, making the little drivers feel like real racers.
The mechanical bull riding offered a challenge for all ages, with participants trying to stay on the bull for as long as possible. The Experience Area was also filled with numerous food stalls offering a wide variety of options.

Another stage highlight was the presentation of the honorary "Ehrenblicki" award, accompanied by Blicki the kangaroo and Tiaa, the IAA TRANSPORTATION mascot. This award was presented to individuals and organizations dedicated to improving road safety—an important topic at IAA TRANSPORTATION.

Daimler Truck hosted a special driving experience where visitors could drive or ride along in different models. A ride in the legendary Unimog U 4023 over a four-meter-high ramp was an unforgettable experience. Daimler Truck also offered family tours through their booth in Hall 19/20 (A73) on both days.
JOST-Werke presented the Coupling Challenge, allowing visitors to test their skills in connecting and disconnecting a trailer. The "Automania" model car fair in Pavilion 11 was the perfect meeting place for model vehicle enthusiasts. From nostalgic vintage cars to modern commercial vehicle models, there was an impressive selection of miniatures. Collectors could discover, trade, or sell rare pieces, and the passion for these small models was clearly evident. Experts also offered workshops with tips on maintaining, restoring, and collecting model cars.
Insights into Electromobility with Mercedes-Benz Trucks
Visitors interested in electromobility had the chance to gain exclusive insights into the world of electric trucks with Mercedes-Benz Trucks. Daily presentations and tours showcased the latest technologies and concepts. Experts explained how the transition to electric drives can not only reduce CO₂ emissions but also create new possibilities for more efficient and sustainable logistics.
