Seating comfort - FEHRER travels with you

Take a seat. Are you sitting comfortably? Seat cushions and seat backrests for coaches and intercity buses from FEHRER can be produced in a wide variety of designs: with monitors or handles in the backrest, with a folding mechanism or in numerous foam heights - depending on requirements and functional demands.

With the globally recognised ISCC Plus certificate, FEHRER is also able to use renewable raw materials for PU foam. This sustainability certificate enables the use of CO2-reduced basic raw materials in which fossil-based materials are replaced by bio-based raw materials (Bio Circular). The quality and properties of the seat cushion remain unchanged.

Innovative solutions for a sustainable future: FEHRER lightweight construction

Setting standards and opening new possibilities - this is what FEHRER offers with a folding bed that optimises the variability and loading volume in the vehicle interior. A three-part folding mechanism provides sufficient space in a small space for comfortable bedding. Thanks to the use of lightweight components, it has been possible to save 5 kg in weight compared to previously used materials - with the same strength.

Stability meets lightness: FEHRER VariPUR

FEHRER VariPUR is an innovative polyurethane sandwich material that is characterised by its low weight and at the same time offers ideal properties. This composite material can be used to produce panels with complex geometries, making VariPUR suitable for a wide range of applications in the interior of cabins and caravans as well as outdoors.

Another outstanding feature of VariPUR by FEHRER is the ability to apply a wide variety of surface materials to the substrate and to use different core and top layer materials. This makes it possible to realise individual designs and functionalities that meet the specific requirements of customers - also in terms of sustainability.
